Response to the revision of the "Next Generation Development Support Measures Promotion Law"

 From April 101, 23, companies with 4 or more full-time employees are obliged to publish the action plan for which the general business owner action plan was formulated and to inform the employees. We will formulate a new action plan and announce the contents accepted by the Tochigi Prefectural Labor Bureau.We have set the following goals so that employees can demonstrate their abilities, harmonize work and life, and create a comfortable employment environment.

What is the Next Generation Development Support Measures Promotion Law?

 The "Next Generation Development Support Measures Promotion Law" clarifies the responsibilities of the national government, local governments, companies, and the people to create an environment in which children who will lead the next generation of society are born and nurtured in good health. It was in effect until 2015 (Heisei 27/3/31), for the purpose of intensive and systematic efforts for 10 years starting from 2005, (Heisei 17/4/1).
 Under this law, companies are required to formulate a "general employer action plan" regarding the work and child-rearing of employees, and companies with 301 or more workers who are always employed (after Heisei 23/4/1, 101 people or more). Is obliged to formulate this general employer action plan and notify the prefectural labor bureau to that effect, and the number of permanent employees is 300 or less (after Heisei 23/4/1, 100 people or less) Companies (less than or equal to) are obliged to make efforts to formulate a general business owner action plan and notify the prefectural labor bureau to that effect.
 Furthermore, due to the revision of the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, companies with 301 or more employees (after Heisei 23/4/1, 101 or more) will be newly formulated after Heisei 21/4/1. Alternatively, it is now obligatory to publicize the changed action plan and make it known to employees.
 In addition, the Next Generation Support Measures Promotion Law has a certification system to encourage companies to voluntarily support the development of the next generation, and achieves the general business owner action plan, etc.-Satisfies certain requirements (certification criteria). By applying, the company can be certified by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as a child-rearing support company.Certified business owners can put the "next generation certification mark (nickname: Kurumin)" on advertisements, products, job advertisements, etc. to appeal that they are a child-rearing support company, both inside and outside the company, and as a result, the corporate image It is possible to improve the morale of the workers to be hired, improve the productivity associated with it, and hire and retain excellent workers.

What is a general business owner action plan?

 Plans for next-generation upbringing support measures implemented by companies to take measures such as employment environment to balance work and family of employees and improvement of various working conditions including employees who are not raising children Therefore, it is necessary to establish the following three items.

Planning period
1 planning period may be set according to the actual situation of the company, considering that it is necessary to formulate and implement an action plan until 2015/3/31. However, it is a plan to be certified. The period should be 2-5 years.

Goal
It is necessary to comply with the action plan formulation guidelines, but if it exceeds the minimum standards stipulated by relevant laws and regulations and is one step or two steps ahead of the current situation, each company can freely set it. However, in order to be certified, it is necessary to include items related to the improvement of the employment environment.
